Down-home memories of U.S. writer
This past weekend, Eudora Welty's house was opened to the public after a restoration underwritten by the Eudora Welty Foundation and the state of Mississippi, to which she had deeded it in 1986.

Take a moment, notice the strange
Since Katrina, and even before the storm, I've been both fascinated and fearful of the fickle nature of fate. (Lovely alliteration from an alluring local luminary, no?)
